Chandos Lake Sanctuary

I you like a fairly weedless private beach beside the 2 docks with WARM water in a quiet bay with a southern exposure and a ton of watercraft, this is the place. Gorgeous BIG sunlit "cottage". We rented it in 2019 as well as 2025 and enjoyed a few new additions like a stairway attached to the BBQ deck, and a very convenient basement fridge/freezer in addition to the kitchen one. Close to Lakeview Marina, and there's free potable drinking water just 5 minutes east on 620. Can't wait to rent it again!

We had an incredible stay and the place was just as described or even better. Cottage was clean, property was well maintained with a nice beach and dock. Kids loved the tree house. Got good use out of the 3 kayaks, canoe and paddle boat. We also rented a boat from Lakeview cottages and marina which was a great way to enjoy the lake.

We enjoyed our stay at Chandos Sanctuary, just a few minor items that we noticed." 1) The drain in the shower in the master ensuite does not drain properly. The drain must be blocked. 2) The door of the refrigerator in the kitchen bangs open against the counter when the door is opened. Not sure if it is the spring in the door . 3) The top rack of the dishwasher is off it’s track. We didn’t want to touch it but leave it to the owner. Otherwise a good week. Hi Dave, We rented this cottage again in 2024. We had previously rented it in 2005 & 2007. The property and cottage are beautiful. What a great lake! I would recommend this property and if i need to rent on Lake Chandos again i would certainly consider this property again. Thanks again for a great week.
