Wollaston Lake is absolutely stunning! It is a great swimming lake and we had load of fun kayaking around. The walk down to the lake isn’t that bad. We just packed up a ton of snack and drinks and were able to spend several hours by the lake. The cottage was lovely, clean and had everything you could need for a relaxing time.

Amazing view, very beautiful dock on lake. Great communication with the owner while experiencing water problems, which were solved as soon as possible.

Perfect for families!
My fiance, myself and our 5 children just returned home this weekend from our week long stay at the breath taking Wollaston Lake! It is exactly as its pictured and is very clean. There was more then enough space to fit all of us comfortaby, and still have room to spare. The kitchen s FULLY stocked with dishes, cook ware, etc. Nice bonus was the board games they have for the kids and I to play on the rainy day we got.
It is a bit of a tricky walk to and from the lake (going up is a bit exerting but not impossible lol), but very worth it! Best advice is to pack the provided cooler bag and spend the day down there. They proved a variety of water toys and fishing gear so everyone can enjoy the water. Its great for swimming, with minimal seaweed and a great view. Water temp was perfect on hot days! The dock has a ladder and is good for jumping off of. Best advise would be to bring water shoes for the slippery rocks!
Only issue we had was the lack of warning about the initial part of the driveway to get into the cottage. It is very steep, gravel, and has huge pot holes all up it that are filled with loose rocks. I luckily have an SUV with a V6 engine so I managed after the second attempt but it still was not easy and we spun out almost everytime. Would not recommend for anyone with a low rider type car or lack of traction.
We absolutely loved our stay at the well taken care of family cottage at Wollaston Lake!

Cottage Goer Extraordinaire
This was our second stay at this cottage and we were glad to make the return trip. A beautiful deer came out of the woods and within about 30 feet of the main cottage on our first morning! It was quite the welcome :)) The beds are comfy, there's plenty of room to store your items, the kayaks are amazing, the dock and swimming are top-notch, and the available fishing rods are a nice and unexpected addition. The kitchen is well-equipped, a good tv is available if you want to use it, and the Wi-Fi works well if you need it. We also very much enjoyed the amazing views from the deck of the cottage and hanging out in the netted/bug proof gazebo to read and sip wine or coffee. Coe Hill and groceries/recycling are just a short trip away. Looking forward to next time.
