Description

This beautiful cottage retreat on Chandos Lake in the South bay area of the lake, offers all the best in Ontario's pristine cottage country - over 9 acres, 167 feet of shoreline and Crown Land across the lake. The main cottage is very comfortable with a woodstove and sliding door walkout onto the large deck (15X30) from the kitchen/dining area and floor to ceiling windows and a fireplace in the living room. The cottage is nicely furnished and decorated. One bedroom has four single bunk beds. The two bedrooms have double beds and the couch in living room is a queen..
This property also features a bunkie with deck. The bunkie offers a living area, kitchenette and bedroom (double futon and one pull out couch - double). There is also a totally renovated bunkie by the lake that will sleep 2 - has large deck with fantastic view.
There are large flat, grassy areas for kids to run and play behind the cottage. This cottage is situated on an elevated, rocky outcrop (for fantastic views) and has a number of steps along with beautiful pathways down to the lake, docks and boats. There is a hot tub as well at this cottage overlooking the lake -a great place to take in the stunning views! There is a large deck with hammock at the water's edge and a 8X32 dock with swimming ladder. The water is deep, and clean.
The swimming conditions are great - but no beach - ie the water quality is excellent and there is a large floating dock with a raft and a slide
This is a great place to relax, swim, fish, boat, explore and enjoy cottage living!
