Description

This log home cottage rental is located on Jack Lake Ontario, approx. 15 min. from the Town of Apsley. The main floor interior features a massive floor to ceiling stone firepace with an open living, dining and kitchen area, large picture windowsand sliding door walkout to the deck. There is a smaller loft above overlooking this area. Behind the living room is the master wing with its own family room with sliding door walkout to deck, master bedroom with walkout to deck, 4 pc. ensuite and another bedroom that opens on to the family room with 2 singles and a 2 pc. washroom. This wing offers you complete privacy from the rest of the cottage. Off the dining room is a screened gazebo/sunroom in which to relax. The lower level has a sauna room with its own shower, walkout to grassy lot and beach and the other 5 bedrooms one of which has a sliding door walkout to the beach as well. The lot is flat and grassy and there is approx. 300 feet of sandy shoreline and very large sandy beach area with shallow sandy entry into the lake. The dock is long, approx. 44 feet out and at the end of the dock the water is approx. 8 feet deep. Some of the furnishings and decor are older; however, the lot is large and private with a beautiful sandy beach. A truly great waterfront area to enjoy!
