Description:
This cottage is located on Lake Katchawannoka, only a 10 min. drive from the Village of Lakefield. You can also boat right into town. The main floor of the cottage has an open kitchen & living area with two bedrooms directly off to the side. There is also a sunroom & deck overlooking the lake. The finished walkout basement (sliding door walkout) features two bedrooms & a large living area. The 1.4 acre lot is grassy with trees along the property lines & gently slopes down to the dock. The depth at the end of the 42 foot dock is approx. 4 feet & the depth at the floating raft is approx. 6 feet & can be weedy. For great swimming, a very large natural sand bar (with no cottages) is located directly across the lake -a 7 min. paddle boat or canoe ride away. This lake is part of the Trent Severn Waterway so you can boat to other lakes as well! This is a great spot to play horseshoes, volleyball, badminton, croquette or simply relax & enjoy cottage country!
