Area: quiet island with Trent Canal in distance off back of island natural setting, mature trees, granite outcrops good fishing for muskie, bass, walleye although owners have aquatic weeds cut in swimming area, the water can be weedy Reasonable children are welcome. The swimming, sailing and square dancing programs at Juniper Island are intended to serve children. (these programs also serve adults) |

This vintage cottage is located on "Kushaqua" Island on Lower stoney Lake between Juniper island and Dunford's Landing. The board and batten interior features original decor and accents and three bedrooms along with a kitchen & eating area and a screened porch. There is also a guest cottage. The island itself is generally flat with natural vegetation, mature pines and granite outcrops. This is a lovely spot for those seeking quiet, a perfect spot to write or canoe
